I believe that as time goes by and PS3 eventually lowers it price even further, more and more consumers will understand and appreciate the Blu-ray player functionality found in the system.

I can clearly see what Sony is trying to accomplish - get the best of both worlds, gaming and high definition movie format in one box. At the present time, Blu-ray that is found in PlayStation 3 is unmistakable the best and cheapest player on the market and media is starting to take notice.

It says you can download games now? I wonder what restrictions will be on them...or if they are just talking about PSN...Andrew_Xavier

well i know there were rumors coming out of Japan that the new firmware allowed PS2 software to be downloaded to the PS3, but as i stated, they're just rumors.

this solidifies why the ps3 is so attractive to non-gamerz as well as gamerz
