I think Crazy Ken is to blame for the system's shortcomings. He should be honorable and commit seppuku. "I aporogiiiiizzzzzzeeeee!"

Is anyone surprised? Why do you think he was taken off of the PS3 right after launch, trust me that wasn't a good sign, Stringer was not happy with him. When you read this article it all makes sense, Kutaragi did say those things about the electronics department, but the fact is he's the one who did this. Really think about it, they had two platinum selling blockbuster systems and somehow they're in this situation now, it takes a lot of screwing up to make that happen.

So Kenny screwed things up so bad that the company promoted him? That happens in my company you get fired. That article is speculation at best. And oh ya...no sources.

And what kind of signal would that send to investors if you fire the guy who designed your highest profile product weeks after it launched, you think that'd be a big confidence booster? Would you buy any stocks if you saw that? You gotta learn a little bit about the way things work out there. It would of been suicide to fire him.

I'm worried for you chembro84.

You seem to embrace all "bad" Sony news no matter how far fetched they may be.

Would be interesting to just once see you use some logic before jumping on the hate wagon. Oh and please mix it up with showing some interest in the games, just a tad.

You don't fire him but you don't promote him either.  They could have just as easily allowed him to maintain his chair and promote an "advisor" to do the day to day.

Explain to me how this news is far fetched? If you look at reality and read this article they seem to agree with each other a little bit, it's not like they are saying "0h NoES!!! Teh PS3 is FAIL!!!11!", they are sying that Sony is having some problems right now, and they are, the battery fiasco is one thing, and like it or not the PS3 is not perfoming up to expectations. This stuff is true, this article was more of a business article than a gaming article. Don't worry about me, I embrace the good news as well, I'm excited for the new online rumor if it's true, but I'm not going to blind like many of you guys and ignore all of the horrible news.

Not my point and you know it. You seem to have a very clear agenda on this board and it's just sad. Maybe I sound remind you each time in case you aren't acting this way intentionally. :)

I have no clear agenda, I just see lots of ignorance. If you go and read all of your posts, it seems you have an agenda as well, its almost like you stand to make money off of this thing or something.

This is accurate.  Generally when buying stocks, there are some things that are looked at as extremely negative,

1) Resignation/Termination/Serious Management Change (this does not include restructuring which could be positive.)

2) When executives, board directors or major shareholders - including high-level executives - sale large numbers of shares.

I guess everything posted here here should be jolly and nothing negative should be posted since Sony is a perfect company.

You have to understand Ken's position here. I think he tried hard to compete with Microsoft, that he lost focus. But I think it's best that he is not going to be involved with any PS development.
