I really don't understand why everyone is crying and complaining about 3.00. Sure, it didn't bring all the features people wanted but it still brought a few good things.
yes it is , i feel sorry for all whohave the 3.0, i was fortunate to be offline the last days , i wont play online anymore until sony fixed it by giving us the option , there are too many things i dislike about this updatei cannot accept it
I got the update and the only problem I have seen is it set the current background color that happened to be purple on my daughters profile as the original color option. So now none of the profiles have to option of the original black background. Original color option on all profiles is now purple. Anyone know how to fix this or have a similar problem?

Or you can download a sceme from PSN and use it. I have a couple that I change from time to time.
I wish they gave us an option to go back to the classic XBar font and icons. The 3.0 icons and fonts are really large and look a bit cartoony. I know it's supposed to help make the XBar more readable, but I liked the classic look better. It just looked sharper.

I somehow doubt that Sony cares if you play online or not. To be honest, I didn't notice any difference at all except some kind of grey background in the list of my PSN friends. Are the fonts supposed to get bigger with all the old themes or just if you use new ones or none at all? Oh, and the icon where I could switch off that news ticker in the upper right corner disappeared. Where did it go?
Ugh, it's so annoying to know that I will cry later today as I might have to update :( BEcause right now I don't feel sad, but knowing I will be later, just frustrates me!
would've been ok if it was another 2.XX update...but instead it rolled over to 3.00, which is SUPPOSED to only happen when MAJOR updates take place...i saw NOTHING major
