This is wat i would do: Get a 40 GB PS3 and upgrade it to somethin like 320 GB (tht is wat i did). Trust me: U will want more memory in the future and it costs less to go ahead and add all u need instead of buying 3 80 gb hard drifves or somethin. Though it would be stupid to go buy a 160 gb PS3 and upgrade to 320GB. Tht is y i said get a 40 gb one (the cheapest way)! Hope i helped!

You should go with the 160 and even then you'll need to upgrade to a higher capacity later at some point. I've gone up to 500gb HDDs in 2 of my 3 PS3s.

If you will download alot of games or movies, then you will need more. I've got a 160 gig and 20 games with saves, 2 downloaded games, no videos, and I've used up 50 gigs. If you are just going to game, I'd think 80 would be plenty.

Why buy a high memory system and upgrade to even higher? U would save money by buying the lowest memory system and upgrading to an even higher hd and not having to put memory back on another hard drive if u got the 160.

You can add me as a friend. My ID is PaTrioTs1 and I can help you out with anything you need to know about your PS3 or we can play games together. I have Street Fighter 4, Warhawk, Motorstorm 2, CoD 4, Burnout Paradise, Socom Confrontation, UT 3 and much more.

True! They could go lower and just order a 500GB Samsung SATA 2.5 5400rpm 9.5mm from www.supermediastore.com for like less than a $100 like I have for 2 of my PS3s.

I read your reply and that is the best idea. I am also going to purchase a larger hard drive. Ebay has some for sell and that are cheaper. I have a nother question though, why 3 PS3s?

Why not? One in my bedroom on a 50 inch, one in my downstairs living room, and one in my upstairs living room. This allows for more people being able to play their own game or to be able to go online and play together in the same house like with Burnout Paradise or watch movies or browse the internet.

It depends on how much you will be gameing, i have a 80 gig with 7 games with saves, PS home downloaded, and a few demos and it uses less than half the memory. I bought my 80 gig on the release date though, so if i were to buy one now i would buy the 160 gig

Thanks for the suggestions, BUT IM NOT MADE OF MONEY, I cant afford all these hard drives and stuff, as I work in a minimum wage job, and Im one of those people who would play a game beat it, then if I know im never gonna play it again, delete the save file, kind of what I did with my PS2

I pretty much plan on getting these with the 530 bucks I have:

80Gig PS3

Resistance

PSN card

and I already have Warhawk as I bought it for 20 bucks using my trade credit at Gamestop.

true, but I dont want to shell out alot of money, when a new Playstation Console is coming in the near future (2010-2011), besides I own a 360 as well, and it just got the RROD, so I when I get my 360 back I'll be playing them both, back and forth-wise,
