ive had one but it had problems so i returned i....

im thinking of getting  another later in the year when some better games are out for it..

p.s. my freind is getting one tommorow.

I am thinking about July at the earliest maybe if Lair delivers and the E3 hype gets me excited about the ps3 again. I am optimistic about a price drop towards the end of this year but if I don't have one at the end of the year the games will force me to get one.

Is there actually a point to this post? Do you have a question about the PS3 or are you just doing market research? The PS3 has been out for months now and most people here already have 1.guyhunter

The 80GB is not coming out 

EB Canada does that? Any game at all? Wow... They sell there PS3 for 650 (About 590 american) and they offer $300 off that?... Insane. Even though, they're giving you 50% value for all the game it'll be easy finding horrific ones. Just go to a baragain bin!

I'll have to look into that...

My PS3 should be arriving by this Friday or I'll be pissed. I've been waiting for a week and I'm anxious to get it. (It was $400 CAD for 60Gig). But, if I don't get it I'll just get a refund on it and go to EB I guess.

Yup, pretty much. Most of the games I traded in were ones I got out of bargain bins or had been given as gifts. Actually my PS3 probably cost me less than my XBox 360.

My 360 plus 1 game was $499.00 + tax

My PS3 plus 1 game was 455.00 (tax included)

Factoring in the cost of the games I traded in would bring the totals fairly close together.
