Is anybody else's COD4 lagging like every 25 seconds??

Lately....whenever I play online, like every 25 seconds or so i get the damn CONNECTION INTERRUPTED thing. Its pissing me off, it doesnt happen with Warhawk and my connection seems fine. Is it the servers??

Is it servers? Most likely. The update made things worse for me, nearly every game has some lag now.

I think it's 2048 down and 256 up with BT, the vast majority of the games before the update were fine. The PS3 is in a DMZ with a wired connection so I think that's fine unless someone knows better, let me know what ports need forwarding and I'll try that. At least I can find games faster.

I have never played this game online for more then 3 hours because I always wind up in American servers. Today I play for nearly 4 hours online and even in American/Australian servers I did fine. All green, no lag. **EDIT** Maybe because of my ADSL2+ which makes things 2x faster ;)

I'm usually running pretty smooth though I like to think I have lag when I'm lighting someone up and they pop off a single shot and kill me. =)

i have ADSL2+ also and i get one red bar every time i'm in an american server...it's not remotely fun to play with at all.

it takes a full round of ammo to take them down...and they can turn mid round, shoot and you're gone 70% of the time.

sucks considering it's the best australia has to offer.......

if i'm in an australian server however.... they go down like a sack of **** in 2 or 3 bullets ;)

to the person that said they think they have lag as they unload on someone then with one shoot you are dead, that person probably uses Juggernaut
so many people forget about this perk and get mad when its hard to take someone down

just look at it this way, hes wearing full body armor from head to toe, you are wearing a tank top and shorts LOL
