i am not getting it on release and dont be fooled by size, no GTA has ever gotten below a 9.0 since GTA 3, so it will be good but too manyother games i want to come out ad play so i will get thoseKurupSoldr

Why are you judging the game so fast. Is not even out yet. I mean, so far, the informations about the game is exciting. The Map size is as big as San Andreas and with the power of next gen consoles, a new GTA game can only get better. Thomas-CrownAs big? Did I miss something? I thought it was smaller.

yeah rockstar said that but i think they changed it to be same size but its supposedly more interactive.and on topic i might get it if it gets cheaper. but i didnt really like san andreas and i dont enjoy going on killing rampages anymore.

well now you've all gone and confused me. I'll have to read some previews I suppose.[QUOTE="Thomas-Crown"]Why are you judging the game so fast. Is not even out yet. It won't be smaller. The new Liberty City is different from the one you see in GTA III. In GTA IV, the Liberty city Is a much more developed city than it was with new areas. These are the areas comfirmed:
Brooklyn is Broker
Manhattan is Algonquin
Queens is Dukes
The Bronx is Bohan
New Jersey is Alderney

I knew that It'd be bigger than Libert City in GTAIII but not as big as GTAIV. You may have changed my opinion. This'll sound strange but I just loved to drive around on the freeways listening to the radio in San Andreas. It's a relaxing way to kill timeFirst trip to a new city, running from cops, amazing stunts you pulled off - that's what GTA is about, and I'm not really sure if IV can stand up to it - if reviews say it even somehow carries on it's legacy, I'll get it without a doubt.

It's a relaxing way to kill timenot to mention that there will be no loading times in and out of buildings.....including skyscrapers. If you feel like checking out the view from the roof of a skyscraper...it sounds like all you'll have to do is walk in, climb the steps, and voila.
Because of Take Two's current financial situation I can't help but feel that they're pressuring Rockstar to get GTAIV out quick, because they know it will sell regardless of quality. I don't see what GTAIV is doing that really improves on or innovates the GTA formula the way SA did. I mean the game was epic and on top of improving the graphics and the core mechanics it added RPG elements. That's the sort of improvement that i expected out of GTAIV, yet I don't see it. espoac
Have you been following the game at all? The game is going to be drastically different from GTA3/VC/SA.
They are aiming for a whole new experience in immersion.
