Is anyone else gonna play MGS4 thru no-kill the first time?

I love that the option to not kill anyone was implemented ever since MGS2. So when MGS4 comes out I'm gonna try and play through the whole game without killing anyone the first time.

PS. Do you think they still kept that in the series at this point? I really like the option.

I'll start finishing Normal ---> then Hard ---> extreme ---> extreme with no kill.

probably only no kill for the bosses. did you see the TGS or E3 trailer (i cant remember which). The firepower they showed off in that demonstration....how could you not use it your first time?

but in MGs3 i did play through without shooting anyone, i sliced EVERYONEs throat. it was a little annoying though when i faced 'the sorrow'

Everyone would be crying about their heads falling off. i remember that part.. but the first time through MGS3. i had a blast at that.. especially with the flamethrower guys in there :lol: "IT BURNS!" i laughed my ass off. i liked that part so much, because of the comments and funny outbursts. But yeah, Slicing the throats of all the soldiers you meet, would make that part annoying.

I will definitely try to get no-kill on my first play-through but it will be difficult since I have no idea what's ahead. :D

In MGS 2... I all most done it but the part where you have to escort E.E. I had no choice but to kill one of them.

In MGS3... No chance at all. The CQC is too fun and the kill moves and so cool to pull out. :P Eventually, I did do it will no kills and no alarm raised which the game rewards you the Stealth Camouflage.

I always play my MGS like this:

1. Play regularly and as fast as possible for the story.

2. Hold up and kill everyone, collect everything, abuse the CODEC.

3. No kills

Then I just screw around... Most of time, I make up weird/funny objectives such as 'Smoke during the whole game' or 'Punch everyone in the balls' :lol:

Hard to say, I probably will not be able to. After all I was never able to in previous series. :)

the Skull facepaint always made me think of Baron Samedi from the old bond movie. or even The Punisher movie. :D

samething here but to take it up another level i will sometimes go into the next load zone just to go back to the previous one so that they baddies will respawn and i can kill them all over again

i m playing the first time in normal no kills, i m going to explore the game at max, trying to find all easter eggs and stuff, i hope it lasts me about 30 hours ;/

Practicality rules in MGS.:lol:

I wont do a no kill run on my 1st play through but I definitely will attempt it once I play MGS4 about 10 times. Seriously MGS4 is gonna be awesome and there will be so many things that will keep you wanting to play the game again & again :D
