Is anyone else hyped for The Darkness?

I've been looking forward to this game since is was on the cover of OPM back in April of last year,  seems like it will add something new to FPS' that should be cool to play.

I've watched some gameplay videos, it looks like it could be pretty good.

I thought this game wasn't going to be great at all. But the more I read about it and got more info on it and saw the trailer I am officially excited for this game. The main reason why $65 (with tax) of my money is gone: Mike Patton is doinf the voice of the Darkness. If any of you guys don't know who Mike Patton is, you might remember him from Faith No More, or his lastest project (not that good) Peeping Tom. But the gameplay looks awesome and gory. This game better not disappoint expectations because I am looking forward to a new PS3 game. Oh, I also read ( I forget where, I think a Game Informer) that the PS3 version is supposed to have 4 full length movies during gameplay. Who else is hyped for this?call_for_blood

why hype any game? hype only makes the game look bad when it is released, we should say all PS3 games sucks so there are no expection for any of them, and when they come out everyone will say omg i didn't know this game is so good.

anyways i am basically buying any game that comes out on ps3 cuz there's nothing to play, o even if darkness sucks i'll still buy it.

Holy crap, seriously?  I didn't know that.  I'm super amped about that.  Is the soundtrack for the game done by Oingo Boingo, Dillinger Escape Plan, Fantomas, and Tomahawk?  Because that would absolutely clench it. :P

PS3 version has the ingame Tv's actually playing old Tv shows, and i think there are actually a couple full length movies, and digital comic books.

sounds cool, mike is one of my musical inspirations and idols.

'Mr Bungle' is one of my favourite bands ever, not to mention how great 'Faith No More' were too.

I wasn't until i visited their website.  the trailers posted over at gametrailers made it look pretty boring, but the web page really shows off how the light/dark game play is going to work and just how much emphasis the developers have put on stories.  what i mean is, that i looks more in line with half life and fear than it does halo.
