I'm interested in it along with using the controller to play Socom 4. It's a day 1 buy for me.

I'm not interested for two reasons:
1. I'm not a fan of the sort of "sports" games that they showed in the demo of the motion sensor, nor do I want to play Socom.
2. I'm big on asthetics and I think the motion controller looks absolutely ridiculous. It looks like Kirby's magic wond gone wrong except exponentially less awesome.
I dont see why people say this is a complete gimmick. Could it end up being a gimmick? yes! That said even the extremely gimmicky Wii has helped FPS games by a long shot. It is so much more precise and easy to use the Wiimote then a dual analog stick controller. And WarioWare Wii was fun. Other then that I agree it has pretty much sucked. That said, with Wiimotion Plus and Move I believe devs COULD make a great hardcore game. I really hope someone makes a beatufil PS3 game that is like zelda or something and has 1 to 1 sword and other weapon capabilites. It COULD be amazing.
I don't feel the need for this sort of control on my PS3. Nintendo hasn't managed very many good applications of the tech, so I doubt better graphic capability of the PS3 is going to change that very much; If the gameplay & design aren't there, the game is a fail no matter how novel the controls or pretty the particle effects.
I won't be buying into it. I'll play my "Tiger Woods" the way God intended - with my THUMBS.

inb4 shovelware.A_Falcies_FancyWell Sony said it themselves that if it doesn't work on the Wii, don't port it on Move, so shovelware is out of the question. Plus they want to create hardcore games withe the device so I'm all in.
Not at all. I think this is a huge mistake by Sony and they're going to regret it. Who exactly is buying this thing? Hardcore gamers are laughing at it (or will when they realize it's nothing more than a complete ripoff of the Wii controller and nothing more), and everyone else already has a Wii. The technology on these things is not up to par for "hardcore" gaming. It's just not going to work right now.
Sony should've worked on innovation rather than jumping on a 4 year old bandwagon.
Sony hasn't forgot about the innovation for the PS3. A lot of people said that Home was gonna be an epic fail and that no one would be online, but it's successful right not at the moment with people spending their money on virtual items and clothes. It really paid Sony off. I think people should wait until Move comes out and then place their opinions on the device, but to each their own I guess. Not at all. I'm kinda interested but wanna see more games for it. Could it be possible that Okami for the PS2 could be remade in HD using the Motion controller?
Not even a little. Gimmicks get old fast.The_Pig_HostageMotion sensing is no gimmick. Playing tennis games on my Wii is waaaayy better than tennis games on my PS3 or 360. For some genres, standard controllers are better, for other genres, motion controllers are better. I bet sports games and RTS games work much better using PS Move over dual analog! I'd rather swing my arm to emulate a sword fight rather than press the X button.
i said yes
im hoping they make a game like wii sports for the ps3 and add online play to that game that wii sports sold tons of wiis now if it had online play i think it would have helped the wii sell tons more ... lets face it the A.I in wii sports is that hard to beat which will lead to alot of people getting bored with wii sports if wii sports had online play it will not only make the game more better not only make the wii more money but help make all those new gamers grow ......
i am really hoping sony will make this happend
I'm not interested in the motion controllers, I'm interested in what kind of games they'll come out with that will use it, and how well it will be used. If they come out with some great games that are a ton of fun to play, then I'll buy it. If it's just some ordinary game with a tacked-on Move feature that really doesn't offer any improvement over the standard controller, I'll be quite happy to skip it.
It's either going to be terrible or revolutionize gaming. The one thing I'm wondering is, was it really necessary to have that colourful ball thing on the end of the controller? It looks more like a child's toy than a controller. Looks aside, if it works well I'll buy it.

I'm still waiting on how the games turn out. This has a lot of potential even for hardcore gamers. We've played so many games that had mini-games in them wouldn't it be cool if we had the option to use a more precise controller to use for them? Most of the time we've had to adapt to the games controls but if its really 1:1 then we won't ever have to adapt.

lol@shovelware being out of the question.
also, everyone who voted yes is a sonymole.
I think gaming should remain how it is, with just normal controllers. Unless Sony does something amazingly crazy with the move controllers and not just a bunch of party games I'm not too interested. I'd like to see it used in the next oblivion game though that would be quite cool.
[QUOTE="LightR"]Give me Elder Scrolls V with a motion controller and we're golden.Ospov
I wish Elder Scrolls V would just come out in general...
Couldn't agree more with this^
As for the Move, right now I'm not interested. The way I feel about motion control in its current state is the same way I feel about 3D gaming in its current state...All flash, no substance (in my opinion).
depends on the price.I'm interested in it along with using the controller to play Socom 4. It's a day 1 buy for me.

When they start announcing support for more hardcore games to go alongside SOCOM 4 like Elder Scrolls V (that would be EPIC) or something. Even just a tech demo of a move enabled God of War 3 (maybe a future update) would be amazing.

hmm im on the fence with this one. It would be cool at first to have the move for combat but wouldn't it get old fast?
joystick for movement, endless variations of attacks and manoeuvres, i don't think so.[QUOTE="A_Falcies_Fancy"]inb4 shovelware.e_stone001Well Sony said it themselves that if it doesn't work on the Wii, don't port it on Move, so shovelware is out of the question. It all comes down to what games will support Move. If many big hit titles become part of the list, then Move may become successful.
i have a wii for motion games (although i usually just play the good first party/ traditional franchises and use it as a gamecube) and i have my PS3 for the other "hardcore" mature games using a normal controller. im not even thinking of getting the PSMove right now, and the only time i would even consider it is when i see a lot of good "hardcore" gamesthat use the Ps Move.
