is Assassins creed 2 worthy to play?

I have played the original and got extremely bored 4 hours into it, so is the second that good? please inform me!

I think it's a complete different game compared to AC1.. I would recommend you just get Brotherhood.It's better in every aspect unless you want to know the story before you get Brotherhood. So, you should give it a try.Yah, Never invite a friend to come to your house and watch you playing Assassin's Creed 2. They will be bored to sleep.

Yes, get Assassin's Creed 2. It's about 300% better than AC1 and almost everything was fixed. I wouldn't recommend getting Brotherhood until you've finished AC2 though.

EDIT: And, its one of the best games of 2009.

much different than AC1, personally like you, i hated AC1, but i loved AC2 when i started to play it (maybe i like Ezio more than Altair, cause he's more awesome), but AC2 is a lot more fun than the 1st one

Everything is much better in Ac2 than it is in AC1. You could skip AC2 and just get Brotherhood if you want, but you'd really be missing out.

Assassins Creed 2 is easily not as repetitive as the first, but it is still VERY repetitive. I enjoyed it for the time being, but my goodness, I will never play another AC game. The story is terrible, the voice actors are terrible, and I swear Ubisoft is terrible for making this game franchise have a scifi twist to begin with.

Curse you Ubisoft, and now they will milk this franchise dry with the sub plot games :roll:.

its pretty much the same with some extra attention to sidemissions..

if you didnt like the first one ill doubt you'll like this one (i loved the first one a lot more since the whole gameplay, idea, style, etc of the game was still new, AC2 is just more of the same...and ezio is a little douche compared to altair, imo..), also, you'll be through it in a week, guess ill leave it up to you to decide

I didn't hate AC1, but I did think it got a little repetitive and boring. I was very hesitant about getting AC2, but was extremely pleased. It was like a different game. Basically the same overall context,but different. Even though some times it felt it was getting boring, I got over that quick with something else I had to do next. I don't think you will be disappointed.
