I wanna get it, cuz Im intrigued by the game, and its setting. But everytime, others would say get Uncharted instead, cuz its boring and repetitive. They say it was mostly hype. Is this true? Should I really get Uncharted instead?

How is the game's lasting appeal after playing it? Will the experience be unforgettable or not?

THANKS!

When you play it through the first time you'll find it great, then you'll try to replay it and realise how foolish you were to even play it the first time because its flaws really become obvious. Rent this game but do not buy it in my opinion.

Reasons? Well, there are 9 assassination missions to do, this is the main plotline. The thing is though, you cannot simply do the assassinations, you need to gather intel on your targets. This intel includes doing numerous sub-missions which, as you find, are almost identical in every assassination and are usually easy and pointless. The only real fun is completing the assassination of which there are only 9! (but boy are those assassinations fun, if only there were more of them). The freerunning is sweet, on par with the whole "going in GTA and getting 6 stars and seeing how long you can last for" only not as fun but still pretty fun. Also, when you go through the second time, you realise just how shallow the city is. I mean sure, there are cool little hand holds to grab here and there that make the climbing fun, but you can't go inside any buildings, you cannot interact with people or find little unique places other than the odd sub-missions which always are the the same 4 sub-missions. Oh, and you realise just how limiting it is having only one button for attacks (press square to hit....... always....... that is the only thing you can do when you attack......... even counterattacking is just holding down block and pressing hit constantly...... THERE IS NO SKILL!!!!!)

It's not boring. It's actually a pretty good game with awesome and extremely scenic graphics, atmosphere and a well devised and delivered story.

It's not an hard game. It does require patience if you wan to go do it the "assassin's way", or you can just go hack and slash as well. Doesn't require real combos, you can jsut play your way trough it with counters (wich basically require just timing in pressing the button when you're about to be hit).

But yeah, people love to bash it.

I'm on my third playthrough on Uncharted. I just can't get enough of that game. I bought AC a while back when it first came out. I read a lot about how it was the same boring thing over and over again but I figured I would give it a shot. Well I never made it past the third assasination because I realized it was going to be the same thing through 9 assasinations and I was just bored of it. That was just me though. I've heard of many people that loved the game.

My opinion would be to get Uncharted. It's short but sweet and you can unlock many things which makes me want to play until I complete it 100%.

The framerate is a little sluggish in this game so if you're very sensitive to low-average framerates you will probably not manage to play through the game.

Yeh, it's pretty easy. When you say combo though, you don't actually have any combos per se, you just mash the square button, and when you get counter attacks, then you just hold down R1 and mash the square button. Like I said, brilliant rental game, but no real incentive to replay it at all, nor need, nor want to do so, but still, very fun first time though, if only for the free funning and assassinating people at random.

Uncharted is amazing.

If compared to Assassin's Creed, Uncharted would win GoTY while Creed would win death by humiliation.

I bought it thinking this is gonna be great. Instead, I got a boring, glitched up game, that really is innovative but lacks the appeal of a GOOD game. I traded it in for devil may cry 4. It was VERY over hyped. I already own Uncharted and that game was better by leaps and bounds.

it's great but gets repetative after 4 or 5 kills.
