I heard that it night result in corrupted downloads? I downloaded BattleField: Bad Company during the background for somtime when I had to MGS 4. I got the corrupted download, the one which gives "An error occurred during the install operation (80029564)." Anyways is it true?

So the problem is random?football_legend

If by random you mean depending on your connection and not your ps3, then yes. Only time I've gotten it is when on very sketchy wifi that would cut out in the middle of downloading.

But PS3 supports resume feature and all, that shouldn't be a problem, alteast not in PCs.

It is though. Bad connection = corruption. If its cutting on and off, it'll corrupt if you don't pause it and reconnect. This was an extremely bad wifi signal though, I've never had it happen under normal circumstances.
