I've been hearing from friends that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has epic multiplayer and that the destructible environments are great. Is this true? Does it go up with titles like COD? I need to know because I might be getting it for christmas, it's either this or black ops.

BF2 is awesome in my opinion, but it is different from COD. In Battlefield, its really like a battlefield. The maps are big and up to 24 players online. It focuses heavily on strategy and teamwork is a must. No free for all mode like in COD but I found it equally as enjoyable as COD. Plus you can drive vehicles such as Humvees, tanks and Helicopters.

COD - Almost no teamwork, smaller maps, focuses on getting kills/killstreaks

BC2 - Lots of teamwork, big maps, focuses on using your kit/class right

In CoD, one player can win a match. In BFBC 2, not so much. Multiplayer and Squad play relies heavily on teamwork, and is a much better multiplayer experience than CoD. Also, toppling a building over the heads of 5 enemies is quite fun :P.

BFBC2 trumps all other FPS games on consoles. Let me put it this way, I got bored of COD4, aka "The messiah of shooters", after a month of owning it but I've been playing BFBC2 for over a year(BFBC2 beta to now) and I'm still not bored of it. So yeah BFBC2's multiplayer is good. If you're going to get the game, make sure you pick up the ultimate edition which currently $40 and sure you get it new otherwise you won't be able to get access to the VIP maps. :)

Battlefield is fun at times,a easy Platinum but after you played it for a while it gets a little boring. You feel of being rewarded goes away because you need so much to level up and but on the other hand it's a really fun game to play. I'd say buy it! :D

Awesome, I'll be getting Bad Company then :D

I seem to like big teamwork-based maps than compressed killstreak-based maps.

Oh, and the part where you can blast roofs over peoples heads was the icing on the cake :P
