Yeah, its hard. To be honest, its as hard as the nes games if not harder. The remake isn't THAT hard, since many things were balanced. The original rondo of blood is probably one of the cheapest games ever to kill you. Symphony of the night isn't too bad, but can get hard if you go too fast.

You'll die alot in the remake, but once you get used to it, you'll get better and eventually like it. I can't say the same for the original though.

It's just right in my opinion, but it can be hard at times.

However, SOTN is easier once you unlock it. Don't let the difficulty put you off though, it's a great game

It is a bit hard, but I think the reviews exaggerate a bit. It's not hard to the point of frustrating. If it's too much for you, just use Maria and you'll have an easier time.

the original rondo of blood is the hardest, the remake is hard, and if you played any recent casltevania you'll be familiar with SotN. yeah the trio is hard at first but worth playing, like other said prepare to die offen while you're on you way to facing the Count.

Yes, it's hard. In the remake and the original you will die... a lot. It can get really frustrating if you don't like that sort of thing.

Symphony of the Night isn't as bad and only gets super hard if you don't take the time to level up and prepare.

It's hard. But not Castlevania Death boss hard.

Keep at it and remember the patterns. Also use the backflip often.
