IS driving me crazy, please help

Good evening lads, I-ll go straight to the point on this one, well my brother just recently adquired a PS3 (I have one aswell) So he's so hyped with it, he haven´´t stopped playing since he got it. Im kinda worried and upset too.... but not because of my brother, my internet connection has been so laggy since he plugged the ps3 to the internet.. so guys the question is; how, without him knowing, do I lower the speed he gets or how do i stop the ps3 from taking part of my internet...

please guys im desperate, I have some work to do, for school and work I need the computer but the Browser takes 4-5 minutes to open a web-site, oh and this page took around 10 minutes, I also checked on my internet speed, just in case. everything is normal when hes not playing online, 2678 mb dload and 255 up

Well you probably just have crappy internet.. i can be online with my PS3, running torrents, and streaming media all at the same time on my 7.5mbamericahellyeah

are you guys saying 3mb (is what I pay for) is not enough... I think it would be enough if the ps3 weren´t sucking on the modem......

I dont need advices, I appreciate every single one of your comments but I really need to stop having lag on my computer.... got some work to do like I said.

man i used to have 1 mb and 128 up and i played warhawk online with no lag and my friend was on messenger and watching web sites with no problem...if u dont need advices no offense but then dont come here :( sorry. and as i sai do some research on some routers or switches that allow you to allocate certain amoutn of speed to a certain device ...i think hey exist at least :Ppsyum

I really find that hard to believe, not saying your lying, just kinda something I would need to see to believe is all.
