I played the demo and it seemed pretty good. Do any of you have it and what do you think of it??ketts726
i have the game and i completed it IMO i like it alot although the camera is a litttle annoyin at times overall i think the game is great dont looks at other people reviews as everyone gt different tastes if u like the demo i will say go for da gameXD

lol....Well, to be honest I'm on the fence with this game , I wouldn't buy it or rent it, but I am going to barrow it from a friend. But to the topic creator, if you think the game is fun buy it, don't let what we say effect your decision.:)
To be honest.... Genji isn't a bad game. Is just that is not very next gen enough in terms of game-play. The graphic is certainly looking the part but the game-play just haven't improved much from the PS2 version. You can change to different characters and there are four to choose from but some of them are just rubbish and a pain to use.
Also, the camera is rubbish... Sometime, you can't see where your going or is too close up to the character you're controlling which, isn't very nice.
the game came bundled with my P3 when we bought it at Sams Club. So at first it was the only game I had for awhile. I liked it. Graphics are great I thought. Camera angle can't be controlled so that part is frustrating but other than that its grate :)
If you like the demo you would luv the game, the graphics are amazing only gears of war beats it so far this gen whenu include art style, The first level when the building is on fire is just eye candy!, fighting with the guy who has 2 swords forget his name is great and looks really kool, i luv his back and side flips, this game also actually has a good story!! If you can get over the camera angle this game is Awsome, if the camera angle was good then this games deserves atleast an 8
would have been way better if the fighting was more kingdom hearts like with all characters on the field and extensive customizable abilties/combos and camera control, they rushed it :(

dont buy it its absed on realistic ancient japan and you can fight giant enemy crabs.... lolz but for real i thought the same thing after watching trailer after trailer it look slike a good game but i couldnt try it because i didnt have a ps3 yet and when i did get a ps3 i wanted to kill myself afetr trying that game so they will never get my purchase jsut buy something like rainbow six vegas or something
Looks like a 50/50 like/loath thing going on here with Genji, guess i'll have to rent the sucker and find out. I never minded Dynasty Warriors 4 so if it's like that i guess it'll be good for a few hours. Worth 4 bucks for a rental.
Ive just finished gengi and i thought it was an ok game,ok it has some flaws..bad camera angles,frustrating jumping parts but i forgave those and enjoyed the gameeven if it was a tad short.
If you like onimusha you should like gengi...don't get me wrong its not as good as onimusha but an enjoyable game non the less;)
It is pretty bad. Very boring, mundane gameplay, some clunky character controls and uninspired level design. Nice graphics though.blueness
Played the demo and came to the very same conclusion.
Hacking up samurai warriors is just no fun in the game. My opinion of course... But the chick seemed to be the best character, with her yo yo like weapon or whatever it is.
