Your melee weopons will be mainly swords and your gun is a bow and arrow besides that they are almost identical. I would go buy the GOTY edition for $30

Yes, go pick up the GotY edition. I think it's only 20 or 30 bucks now.

i found the goty version of oblivion on the ps3 unplayable because the vampire quest glitch....basically if you get bit by a vampire you turn into a vampire...sure its cool for the first hour but later you can only be out at night and you have to feed on people constantly....normally theres a quest where you can find all the ingredients to make you normal again...but from my knowledge the quest giver doesn't talk to you.

You only become a vampire after 3 full game days without going to a shrine and healing yourself though...nothing major at all. Also i HIGHLY recommend the game if you enjoyed fallout 3...it is my most played PS3 game ^.^

I'm pretty sure you can heal vampirism in any version of the game. Bethesda is not that stupid.

There is a glitch where if you become a full vampire you cannot do the quest to cure it. The person you are supposed to talk to will never have the option come up for the ingredients you need to give that person and you are stuck as a vampire unless you get a regular version of the game and do the quest while using that version. This is for the NA release only though...for the EU the glitch is there but turning the language to german fixes it.

There is something wrong with the wiki (I doubt it) or with my game, because I'm sure I cured my vampirism I remember quite well...maybe I have a bug that fixes this bug
