I played it for a week and the single player just got boring. I can't play online because it says connection failed lost one or two players. Also my cousin has so I can play his.

dude, get GTA4, i never had a connection problem, the story is amazing and fun, you will like it,you cant compare a Racing game to a actoin adventure game
GTA IV is pretty good.. The Graphics are very good. The story is fun. But the storyline from GTA: San Andreas is the best. GTA IV is a good game.. you should get it.

I rented Burnout Paradise, and returned it before my time was even up.
But I'm still playing GTA4. I haven't finished the story, but am closer to finishing it than I've ever been in a GTA4 game. I feel I'll be running around Liberty City even after I finish the story.
I wouldn't get it just because every time I get the new GTA I always hear good things about it then it becomes old to me in less than a week. I heard good things about it but that's just because the people I talked to would be impressed if you can see the bullet holes in a game.
GTA 4 is probably the most overrated game to come out in years... or at least since Halo 3 or Gears of War or Warioware Smooth Moves (lol)... it has a lot of really annoying gameplay issues and the story takes itself way too seriously... aside from the level of detail in the graphics and little subtleties, the game is inferior to its PS2 predecessors in just about every way.
That being said, it's still GTA and is totally worth the $60 you'll pay for it.
I am the only one haven online problems with gta4. If I can get it fix then I will buy the game for sure.But if I can't say hello to mgs4 and resistance 2.

I agree, I just bought BP. Can't wait to receive it! I'll buy GTA4 when ebay prices will drop.
