I'm planning on buying it this week and I just wanna know if its really worth it. Is the game long enough to keep me waiting for FF13? If not could you suggest another game that could keep me playing. :D

Well if you do all the side quests and focus on collecting the shards for trophies youll put 30+ hours into it probably.

I loved the game personally, good story and fun powers to use.

InFamous is a great game. It most likely won't keep you occupied until FFXIII but it is still worth it. Even after you play through both alignments in the main story, just roaming around the city is fun collecting the tons of blast shards or clearing the city of crime through side missions. You may be able to find it for a pretty good price too, I got it for 30 dollars used.

I got it for christmas along with my PS3 and it's a blast! Definantly worth the cash in my opinion and the price tag said 40$ or so on it so it's pretty cheap to buy now.

inFamous is a short game but I still say it's worth it in every way. So far it's the game that has impressed me the most on PS3. I recommend it to everyone!

InFamous for such a low price certainly is worth it.

Despite my initial reservations, yeah, it's a supremely fun game. It ain't the graphical powerhouse that other exclusives could lay claim too, but not many games crank up the action the way Infamous does.

A fantastic game. It has these amazing set-pieces and a good story to boot. It's worth a purchase, one of my best purchases if I do say so myself.

It was my first sandbox game, and I loved it. I haven't even touched the evil side yet and it's still worth it. There's a free DLC that you should make sure to get after you get the game.

InFamous is realllly repetitive... id go with Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, Assassin's Creed 2, etc, first.

I second this. inFamous is great initially, but the pacing is really poor in my opinion, the majority of the missions feel exactly the same, and the game's way of giving you new powers becomes yawn inducingly uncreative.

Infamous is worth it. It's an great game with a good story =) Atleast that's my opinion ^^ You can play the story both sides as villain or hero , as you have to make choices in the game. You won't get bored, enough action in this city^^ His powers are pritty cool and the graphics are good too =) I'd recommend this game to anyone .

Infamous is a good game w/ a great ending.

Basically it's worth 3 playthroughs, but not back to back. It's good to play through, than sit for a few months. Length is pretty typical for modern games.

It's completely worth it, not only will you need to play the game through twice (once for good and once for infamous) but the story is actually well thought out and it'll leave you wanting another game.

It's good, but not a masterpiece by any stretch. The open world design leaves a lot to be desired and the civilian NPC AI is mind-numbingly stupid. Also, there's quite a good bit of repetition. In the end, though, I still give it a 9.0, but there's better games out there.

^^this x10... speaking as somebody who thought the game was fairly average, I'm still extremely excited about a sequel. I'd almost recommend not playing this game until the sequel is announced then play them back to back.

I would rather rent the game then to buy it, as the poster said above it gets old pretty quickly and somewhat repetitive.

It's definitely worth the $40 :) I bought it when it first came out, and I still think it was worth the $60 :D

I wouldn't recommend a purchase, because I completed the game entirely within a week. I'd say rent it.

I'd have to agree with those who claim it gets repetitive. I found the game started to bore me during the second district. Story started picking up again in the final district and it left me desperate for a sequel after the final battle. I started my second playthrough pretty much straight away (to Plat it :) ) on evil and hard mode. It depressed me a LOT (especially when I went Blast Shard hunting. Still cant believe finding them all was only worth a bronze) If it's cheap, I'd probably say get it but there are better games out there at the moment. Save inFamous for the summer (where there's almost always a gaming drought)

It's a great game and one of my favs for the PS3. I think it's a bit cheaper now, so it's definitely worth it. I don't know if it will last you 3 months, but it's pretty lengthy for an action game.

if you play it ina balanced way finishing up the main quest and side quest side by side, it will not feel repetitive, however if you stack side missions that are alike and tackle them, it might get pretty repetitive...

It's definitely worth it. Powers are heaps of fun to use, The story is fantastic and the cutscenes are some of the coolest looking i've ever seen. At the very least you'll get 2 playthroughs out of it.
