Yes in my opinion. Descent headset for the price. I wasn't going to pay $200 dollars for a headset, but this one has worked out better than expected for me. I bought it so I can play without keeping the wife anddaughter awake. I play both online and off and I use it all the time. It feels light on my head and comfortable on my ears. You need to do some connections with the televisions inputs in the back, but everything was easy enough to understand in the directions and easy enough to hook up. Has seperate volume, bass and mic volumes. I would pick up the headset, it will work for you.

Only because thats the only good headset that covers both ears. The Sony blutooth is nice if you dont mind the one ear thing, turtle beach gives you surround in you ear so if you got th extra money i guess i would get those. Ebay prolly has them cheap.

thank you all for your great advise, but is it true they break in three month?

I'm usually a psycho with my stuff and I try to keep them from falling or taking a blow, will they still break?

Not really, you could use them for any game...it's like having the sound all around you, truly amazing if you really like that sort of stuff, crystal clear sound

Although if you want it for MW2 to hear through Ninja Pro then i wouldn't recommend it, instead i'd turn the T.V set volume up lol

Mine came broken. Left ear didn't work, right ear had a hiss. Seems to be a problem experienced by many. I spent more time trying to get them out of the clam shell packaging, then back in, than I did actually using them.

Not true. They do not only serve as an online headset. I use these more for offline games then for online gaming. Also, they are decent for the price. I wasn't about to spend $200 or more for a headset. I wanted something with good quality without breaking my wallet. These have worked out better than I expected.

I keep my stuff in tip top shape also, however I have dropped them twice by accident and they still work fine for me. I got mine in mid August and still going strong. I use them almost every night for 2-3 hours. I know some people have complained about them getting them broken, but I have also realized that most bought them online and had them shipped. Try going to a store (Best Buy, Gamestop, Ect.) and buying them. That way if you do have a problem you can bring them right back without worrying about shipping them back and forth or them getting damaged in shipping.

Had mines for over a year and use it constantly... still working like it's day one... with everything in life, it's all on how you take care of it... if you abuse it like a prom night child, it's going to break, if you take care of it like a million dollars worth of gold, it'll work forever...

Go spend your money preordering a new game or something because unless your regular headset doesnt work there isn't a reason to buy one because my mic works fine and everyone can understand me in the game.

I can agree with this. Unless you really want to buy them or have a reason to buy them. I bought mine so I did not disturb my wife and daughter. I was using my bluetooth just fine, but didn't want to bother them. I switch back and forth between the both now depending on when I'm playing and who is at home. So unless you really want them, your mic is broken, or you need not to disturb someone in the house or next apartment, I would suggest to do what styx says.

I don't have any sort of headset for my PS3, not even those blutooth headset use to talk only...

I was thinking about ordering them on amazon.com because they have a great offer(66$ with FREE Shipping). but I heard you say they break on the shipping process, are they still worth buying?

Personally I went with this instead. Incredible sound and you can choose your own headphones to use with it.

That's a good deal. I think I paid $89 for mine.I didn't say they were going to break during shipping, it just seems most people who have had issues had them shipped. I would go for it. The worse thing would be if they did not work for you, you would have to go back and forth with shipping exchanges.

You seem to know nothing on this subject. They work great as an online headset, true. But I primarily use them to play games at night while my daughter/wife are asleep or when they don't want to hear the game I'm playing. They produce excellent sound for the game, as well as chat. They also work with my pc, so they are mulitple use as well. And for $85, they aren't the cheapest, but better priced than a lot of similar headsets for ipods/mp3 players.

They're pretty good if you take care of them.

I didn't and i broke them. :(

I got the Turtle Beach PX21 headset and have been very happy with it. My main reason for getting them was because I was looking for a gaming headset that would work with PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and there aren't many headsets that offer support for all 3. Many will support PC and one console, but not many that do all 3. They are fairly easy to hook up and swap over between consoles, and the 16ft cable is plenty long enough to sit on the otherside of the room. There are quite a few adjustments you can make on the small sound card. The earpieces are a decent size and don't feel uncomfortable even after long gaming sessions (4 hours + ). The boom mic is bendy and adjustable to fit. They aren't a cheap headset, but they work with both consoles and PC, and do a good job as a headset, so I'm happy with them.

I got mine for 60 bucks and don't regret it at all... I haven't dropped them once and somehow they stopped doing PS3 in game audio via headphones... Chat still works but no game audio... Game audio still works on 360... I dunno what the deal is there.

They are a good price for what you get. And no they aren't only good for online, they can be used for any game whether you're online or not.
