Is it a good time to buy a PS3

So I have been reading about the whole PSN being down thing these few days, and I'm have been waiting to get a PS3 (mainly because of God of War III), and I might plan to get PSN along with it.

So I'm wondering should I get it now? I'm planning to get the Slim PS3 so I don't know it the PS3 being down thing will effect it.

Yes. The PS3 has a fantastic library of games.

PSN was up for me less than 24 hours after it went down. Anytime is a great time to buy the PS3

The network was inaccessible for 24 hours, and that only affected the older "fat" model. If you bought a new slim, you wouldn't have had any problems at all.

It's a perfect time to get a PS3. So many games out now.

It's fine to get a PS3 no matter which version you have. The clock thought it was leap year or something and that is why we had the error for about a day. If you want a system, go for it.
