like when i get a ps3 is it easy to set up ona tv???

Easiest thing in the world. Connect power and video cables to the back of the system and the wall/tv respectively. The system comes composite cables (red, white, yellow). After connecting and loading, it walks you through system setup: display.audio options, account setup, etc... That's all pretty self explanatory. If you've used a 360, as your username suggests, it's the same exact process.like when i get a ps3 is it easy to set up ona tv???

Just buy the darn thing already. :DSecond_Rookim getting a ps3 for my bday in june probly
Depends what you want to connect it to?
TV = Easy.
Monitor = Can be tricky, if you're like me only one VGA connection & no built in sound.

im gonna be hooking it up to an hd tvUSB or charging station. Just buy the darn thing already. :DSecond_RookI also want to add that the USB cable that charges the controller is kind of short, but you can plug the usb into any computer to charge it so you can charge it on your pc during the day while your ps3 isn't on if you'd like.

Anyone else have issues with it not charging in a dumb device? IE, I can charge the controller fine on my computer and any other console, but if I plug it into a power strip with USB outputs it does nothing (and I know they work because my iPod and cell phone charge fine on them).

that means i could charge the ps3 controller on the 360?Xbox360Gamer15Yup. I believe the back USB port of the 360 is always powered, where none of the PS3 ports are powered when the console is on standby. Alternatively, if you have WiiConnect enabled on your Wii, you can charge the controller on one of the Wii's USB ports when it's on standby.

I've noticed that too. I have a few of those USB wall plugs that come with cell phones, and cameras, and whatnot, and they don't charge the controller. It kind sucks.
