Is It Just Me Or Does Uncharted 3 Look.......

Just like Uncharted 2? I really don't see a major difference in graphics or gameplay, its still gonna be a great game though.

from the little 2 minutes of gameplay that was shown, such conclusions shouldn't be drawn up yet.

No, it's not just you. I do think it looks like Uncharted 2, but then again, Uncharted 2 is a fantastic looking game, so it's not a big deal. They also still have 10 to 11 months to make it better, although I kind of doubt that would happen. Unless, they pull a God of War III.

its almost a YEAR away from release, we have only seen a 2 minute vid which was really just to show off the new melee moves, people are so quick to critisize. ND will polish this game to hell and trust me when i say that uncharted 3 will be the most visually impressive game ever released on a home console when it gets released.

Even though I'm a huge MGS fan I'd say Uncharted 2 tops MGS4 in the graphics department (that was so hard for me to say).

Damn dude, give it some time. It's almost a year away from release. There's a lot of polish that's going to be done in that time.

Well they said they started working on the game last year..so maybe that was just an early build off the game. They have loads of time to polish the game up so I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah doesn't look like there's a big difference like the first two had. Still looks great and I'm sure it'll be a great game.

Character models are a tad better, beyond that its hard to tell. Some parts of it were quite beautiful, but just as in Uncharted 2, some of the environments stand out more. ***SPOILERS*** I remember when I walked into the ice cave with the first yeti beast thing. That place is gorgeous. There isn't much lighting to be had in the house so naturally it does look worse, but its still nice. I love when he is shooting the guys on the stairs as his foot is caught. The staind glass emits the red light and it looks great. It will be slightly better than UC2 in areas I bet, but nothing MAJOR, cause UC2 is already some of the best graphics you will see this gen.

Yeah those are some nice pics. I love the one with him and sully at the bottom of the stairs and if you look at the top of the stairs you can see the light from outside and all. I think the graphics are UC2 with small improvements in areas, which is great!

I dunno. Uncharted 2 looked so amazing its hard to believe they could actually do any better. I mean, how much more can they get the PS3 to do??? I didn't think it looked any better, either, but its still too early to tell and it wouldn't matter if looked the exact same. Its still gonna look great and hopefully be as amazing as the last two installments in terms of story and gameplay. I think they will focus a bit more (in multiplayer) on vertical pieces. I think some levels like that could be fun :). I love it when you can hang from something and pop out and shoot the guy. Well now you can jump off and break their neck lol. Sounds good to me!

Yep. U1 was amazing for its time, but U2 blew it away and set new standards. U3 seems to build upon U2 in some ways but not much, as that is nearly impossible to do :P.

I know from reading some of the interviews that they worked on making some of Drake's movements even more natural through improved motion tracking. The improvements will probably more fine tuning of certain aspects than anything. ND always has a lot more going on than just making things shiny and making every texture pop out such as Drake's clothes getting wet then progressively drying, their wide range of facial animations for characters, etc.. Uncharted 2 looked amazing not sure how much it can be improved upon

The Uncharted 3 gameplay trailer looked like Uncharted 2, but the game is over a year to be released. Meaning, it will look 10x better.

we've only seen gameplay from the château which is on fire. ND implements more blurry and a few more special effects like bloom so it actually looks like the château is on fire. The textures and lighting effects seem to be noticeably better than U2 when you actually see them w/o those fire effects everywhere.

Well for Uncharted 3 to have ten times better graphics than Uncharted 2 it would literally need to have ps5 graphics because Uncharted 2 was PS4 graphics

It's too early to judge. A game should not be judged too early.

Graphics aside, when drake nearly falls off the stairs and you get a shot of the fire below that looks INSANE! Definitely looking forward to this.
