I beat it in 5 days, a new record for me for a disc game. I just couldn't really stop playing, I had to make myself stop, something that doesn't happen to me incredibly often. I'm not saying I don't like a lot of other games, but most games have a "stopping point" in them somewhere. The flow is also unmatched in how you just want to see what happens in the next scene. The flow of platforming, cutscenes, and gun play is so good, I never wanted to stop because since you never do one for too long, you long to do more of it. Uncharted 2 is easily one of my favorite games I've ever played. :) Thoughts?Chaos_BladezIts not impossible for me to put down. Its a great game and everything but there is new games to be bought and played every week almost for me.
It's not just you. That's why I decided to play on hard. I figured it'd last longer (that's what she said).
Agreed. I just finished Demon's souls an hour or so ago and put in Uncharted 2...WoW am I impressed! I mean I thought the original was good, but this SO far blows it away...the cutscenes, the flow...the graphics, the actors...its all TOP notch. My sister who's home from college for the weekend was watching it while I played because it was THAT interesting, like a movie...
I had to quit at chapter 3 or else id play it ALL night...Ill pick up in the morning!
[QUOTE="funsohng"]it's impossible to put down, yet you beat it 5 days? you must have a lot of things going on in your life... Chaos_BladezYeah that does sound weird but I don't get to play everyday. I was a bit busy with school and a social life and my dad hates me playing games so I played whenever I wasn't doing those other things. From you people's responses, it seems the answer to my question is "yes." :P
same here...
No it's not just you, I got it 4 days ago and have since then beat it on hard twice and crushing twice, it's just so hard to put the controller down.
Its very hard to put down. If I had a choice I would skip school to play it. I got platinum in 5 days which is my record. And the multiplayer is so fresh and exciting. No it's not just you
I've had no problem putting it down, for Demon's Souls. Now that game has got me HOOKED. Uncharted 2 was good, but not great in my humble opinion. It fell victim to many of the first games flaws. Platforming and firefights just felt very monotonous for me. Glad your enjoying it though. God knows most people are. raven_squadWow, DS seems to really have it's hooks into people. It seems like less people then I thought were as mesmerized as I. Still it seems a lot of people loved it.

Went right back to Demon's Souls after beating Uncharted 2 (which is an awesome game). There's just something about the boss fights and unlocking more of the map that I just can't put into words. Not to mention the leveling of your character and the soul farming.

Well, not impossible, but I actually lost my feeling of time several times and so I ended up finishing the game around 3 o'clock in the morning xD
Seriously bro, I have to FORCE myself to only play it in 2-3 hour chunks. Just beat Chapters 6-11. I'm on the part where they have to chase the train. I could probably play for another couple of hours, but I want to have something to look forward to. Maybe it's just me, but I find this game to be easier than the original. I'm playing through on Hard right now. I easily see myself replaying this game on Crushingand going after all of the treasures, with a guide, on my 2nd playthrough.
I also agree. Easily the best game I've played since MGS4. It is every bit as engrossing as Fallout 3. This is a VERY special game. The kind that doesn't come along very often. Might very well end up being my favorite game ever. I simply cannot find any faults with it...well worth every penny of the $59.99 + tax I spent. Makes the competition look pathetically bad in comparison.
ya it is impossible to put down i completed it in a span of five days and now i will start on the crushing difficulty.awesome game
i beat it the same day i got it lol. it is very fun and i really enjoy the online. i played the crap out of the beta soo i pretty much knew what to excpect.
it's impossible to put down, yet you beat it 5 days? you must have a lot of things going on in your life... and no, i wanted to stop playing after those guys in ice cave came out. (hate those kind of stuff in uncharted) and i usually get this headache if i play an action game too long. but nonetheless, uncharted 2 was great, i dont remember playing this kind of game non-stop for 5 hours without stop recently.funsohng
I kind off agree.
I didn't like that part. It didn't make me want to stop playing though. I was just a little dissapointed with that part.
uncharted 2 and demon souls are both incredible hard to put down. i was cruising along in demon souls and switched to uncharted 2 when it came out. beat uncharted 2 played some multiplayer and tonight i think im going back to demon souls but it wont be easy i may switch on uncharted 2 and have another go at it.

And I understand what TC means. The game is amazing.

I thought that part was perfectly executed. I'm assuming you didn't beat the game because it explains those things. They are out of left field but not as much as the first game's surprise.[QUOTE="Chaos_Bladez"][QUOTE="funsohng"]it's impossible to put down, yet you beat it 5 days? you must have a lot of things going on in your life... funsohngYeah that does sound weird but I don't get to play everyday. I don't quite get that last sentence though. I think you are saying that it's good to have other things to do, which I agree.
Its just you. I played up to the start of chapter 3 on UC2, and said, "ok, thats enough, back to Demon's Souls". Haven't touched UC2 since launch day, that just goes toshow how amazing Demon's Souls is.
