Is it just me or the PS3 is a....

dust magnet ? no matter how many times i clean it or if I cover it with something, it gets full of dust

Na, my Wii collects more dust. I clean my PS3 every 3 days :P.

not really...although i set mine up vertically so there's less space on top for the dust to settle.

Iv found the best way to dust a ps3 is the simpliest and oldest way. with a feather duster. it gets in to all the nookes and craines ect. if you have smudges then use a micro fiber cloth lightly damp. when you are done playing with it for the day throw a towel or pillow case over it, just be sure the system is turned off:). problem solved. if you need to clean the vents just use a vac hose attachment.

Mines set vertically and it stays reasons dusted. Doesnt bother me to much though

60GB model, and yes it is like some crazy dust super magnet. Maybe no more than the Wii but cuz it's black it shows more.

Not much of an issue for me. When I cut my PS3 off, I cover it with a pillow case.

Yeah, that happens to my console as well, once it gets very dusty I just clean it up.

It is probably no worse than other items in my house. I use a microfibre cloth to clean it. Fast and gentle.

Mine also get very dusty. It may have something to do with the glossy finish because my PS3 and Wii both get a lot more dust than my 360. I'm not sure though because I haven't seen how dusty the Slims get.

my fat boy ps3 never has dust on it. I've trained my wife well!! :P

Mine does not get too dusty actually. I rarely have to clean. The TV and my computer probably attract all the dust away from it :P

yep the PS3 is somewhat of a dust magnet, it seems as though it gets dirty the day I clean it :D

never the less i love my dust magnet keeps my room clean

I keep my room clean and PS3 is covered with clean white cloth.

I don't recall having any dust on the console... maybe once a month I'll clean the air sides and it's as sparking black polish clean as it was when I purchased it almost three years ago. ;)
