Is it just me who notices this in games?!?

For some reason,for the last while ive been noticing alot of flickering in games,both old and new.

Never really noticed it until i played GTAIV which is really odd,ive changed my tv recently to a Sony lcd 1080p and my ps3 was changed and still notice it.

It seems to be on edges of objects in certain games when the camera is being moved,recently noticed it playing resident evil 4 upscaled on my ps3.

Never noticed it on my 360 though,how odd.

Anyone else notice this? Or am i a total freak?

Ive never noticed. Maybe your AV Cable Inputs are just going bad.

Yeah i think i may be a freak then,its kind if like bad anti aliasing.

Its not my cables,i changed them,aswell as my tv and even my ps3 once.

Its odd,like when i pan the camera around,edges of doors etc on certain games seem to flicker,its got me puzzled.

Surely bad anti aliasing is only a little better than aliasing?

Curious as to what tv you have? not saying its the tv or anything but have you checked video settings on your tv? I dont run the same settings(on TV) for both consoles and I have both HDMI. 50" Sony SXRD.CorporateHammer

I have a sony bravia tv and ive messed around with the settings loads.
