is it still good to get a ps3 if u dont care about blu-ray?

I REALLY would not bet on FF13, tekken 6, or MGS4 to ever come out on Xbox. It's a slight possibility w/ mgs, but the others are...no.

My question to you is...do you have an HDTV?

If you do not, then i'm sure the HDMI doesn't matter so much to you, and therefore you will probably not buy a 360 elite am i correct? Then in this case, i would not buy either console unless you really like the 360, and i would wait and see.

If you do, i'm sure you WILL care about blu-ray, and the PS3 is suddenly not much more expensive than the elite xbox either. In this case, you could wait for the ps3's speculated 40gb model, which will be stripped of a few things probably and therefore it will be cheaper, or you can get the 60gb now which has full backward compatability. Wait or not, if you have an HDTV, judging by your taste in games, the PS3 is probably a much better buy for you.

where do you get your infor from. These games are not coming out on the 360 plus PS3 is a great reliable system without any bugs, three red light of death and other problems that makes a superior system plus the games coming out for it this holiday season are definitely better than the 360 in my opinion.
