True statement. I bought Shadow of the Colossus just recently and I loved it. It came out in 2005

How can it be too late to buy it? It's not like it's a multiplayer only game that may not have enough players to warrant the purchase. It's a single player game, thus I don't understand how it can be too late.

I find it ridiculous when people think its too late to purchase a game. I can understand if the game was mainly focused on multiplayer but in this case Fallout 3 should not be missed. Take Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republicfor example, it's a last gen game and I'm still looking for it because it was a game that I missed out on now I regret it.

Defintely would recommend waiting till the fall for the GOTY edition, which may also have improved technically.

It's too early, wait for the Game of the Year version, and you'll get all 5 DLCs.

what nyc05 said. i tend to hear this statement quite often. it always confuses me. if your interested in a game whether it's a day old or 10 years old you should give it a try. gaming is about having fun.

Fallout 3 is pretty awesome. If you are playing on PS3 then wait until the Game of They Year Edition comes out in a couple of months which has all of the 360 DLC in it.

It's NEVER too late to purchase a game that's as good as Fallout 3 although I STRONGLY recommend holding off until the Fall because Bethesda has announced a GoTY (Game of The Year) edition which includes all of the DLC.

It's not too late, it's too EARLY.

WAIT UNTIL THE GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION COMES OUT THIS FALL.

It comes with all the FREE DLC!

Seriously, I'm trying to save you money.

How can it be too late to buy a single player game? It's not like some online games where they just die after a certain amount of time. Although if you do plan on buying it you might want to wait until the Game of the Year edition comes out in October. It's Fallout 3 + all 5 DLC add-ons for $60.

It isn't too late to pick up Fallout 1 and Fallout 2, which came out in 1997 and 1998 respectively. It certainly isn't too late to buy Fallout 3. In my opinion it's a can't miss game in one the the best series ever created. I will advise you ot hold off until October though. The Game of the Year edition comes out then loaded with all 5 DLCs. Ordinarily they are $10 a piece and unlike some DLCs you really get your money's worth. So for waiting a few months you save $50 and get a ton of bonus content.

No, its all about saving money. The DLC's and the game itself purchased separately would be a much larger blow to the wallet then the GOTY edition. Plus, its possible some kinks will be ironed out.

Exactly. Fallout 3 + all DLC = $110

Fallout 3 GotY Edition = $60

Hopefully GotY Edition is smoothed out a bit too, since I heard there were some issues with the PS3 version.

That's an irrelevant question because it's never too late to purchase a game that interests you. As aforementioned it's not an online game; I agree however that you should wait until the GoTY edition drops.
