True statement. I bought Shadow of the Colossus just recently and I loved it. It came out in 2005never too late to play a game this good. its a great game. buy it.

if you're willing to wait 'til ??October?? [i might be wrong on this], you can buy the GOTY editon which includes all the DLC.
I find it ridiculous when people think its too late to purchase a game. I can understand if the game was mainly focused on multiplayer but in this case Fallout 3 should not be missed. Take Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republicfor example, it's a last gen game and I'm still looking for it because it was a game that I missed out on now I regret it.
How can it be too late to buy it? It's not like it's a multiplayer only game that may not have enough players to warrant the purchase. It's a single player game, thus I don't understand how it can be too late.

what nyc05 said. i tend to hear this statement quite often. it always confuses me. if your interested in a game whether it's a day old or 10 years old you should give it a try. gaming is about having fun.

GOTY? dang thats going to be hard to find around here
question about GOTY version, do i need to get all trophy(includibng the DLC) to get the platinum. or i just have to finish the original trophy list?
It's NEVER too late to purchase a game that's as good as Fallout 3 although I STRONGLY recommend holding off until the Fall because Bethesda has announced a GoTY (Game of The Year) edition which includes all of the DLC.
What he said. This game is HUGE!!! It'll take you a long while to complete. How can it be too late to buy it? It's not like it's a multiplayer only game that may not have enough players to warrant the purchase. It's a single player game, thus I don't understand how it can be too late.

It's not too late, it's too EARLY.
WAIT UNTIL THE GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION COMES OUT THIS FALL.
It comes with all the FREE DLC!
Seriously, I'm trying to save you money.
the only prroblem wih this game is...if youve played it so much already you really dont want to play it anymore lool
and guys who say wait for the game of the year edition ok.... i can barely handle waiting 2 days for a video game to come in the mail..... but 4 months? thats torture on a guy what if some other badass game comes out then, hes stuck in the past its all about now and moving towards the futre!
How can it be too late to buy a single player game? It's not like some online games where they just die after a certain amount of time. Although if you do plan on buying it you might want to wait until the Game of the Year edition comes out in October. It's Fallout 3 + all 5 DLC add-ons for $60.
It isn't too late to pick up Fallout 1 and Fallout 2, which came out in 1997 and 1998 respectively. It certainly isn't too late to buy Fallout 3. In my opinion it's a can't miss game in one the the best series ever created. I will advise you ot hold off until October though. The Game of the Year edition comes out then loaded with all 5 DLCs. Ordinarily they are $10 a piece and unlike some DLCs you really get your money's worth. So for waiting a few months you save $50 and get a ton of bonus content.
No, its all about saving money. The DLC's and the game itself purchased separately would be a much larger blow to the wallet then the GOTY edition. Plus, its possible some kinks will be ironed out.and guys who say wait for the game of the year edition ok.... i can barely handle waiting 2 days for a video game to come in the mail..... but 4 months? thats torture on a guy what if some other badass game comes out then, hes stuck in the past its all about now and moving towards the futre!

Exactly. Fallout 3 + all DLC = $110
Fallout 3 GotY Edition = $60
Hopefully GotY Edition is smoothed out a bit too, since I heard there were some issues with the PS3 version.
