my one buddy said it's only fun in single player mode if you have someone to play with....I hope not, I was kind of looking forward to it.

single player is awsome alone, I did it twice also. But nothing still beats the co op it just makes the expirence better which is awsome to begin with.

Side note= One draw back to co op play, when my buddy and I are in the shopping menu or just standing around giving eachother high fives or head butts we can hear eachother just fine on our headsets, but when the shootouts start and the action gets heavy we both begin to break up to where we cant hear eachother at all, or until the action dies down again. If anyone can help me out please do. I dont wanna ruin a badass game with this but I gottta know does anybody else have this problem?

i have a question....is the splitscreen vertical or is it horizontal....i heard that you could go in the options menu and switch it to 16:9 widescreen so that its split vertically. is this true?

I enjoy it playing single player, and it just gets better when you have a friend to play with as well. Overall good with or without a friend.

The only problem I have with the single player partner AI is that it will drag me when I'm down for ages before deciding to stop and heal me. Other than that, it took down quite a few baddies on its own. You just have to know how to use the command system.

only issue I have with online campaign is that if my buddy started the game then next time if I start the game from checkpoint it starts from the beginning... so he has the checkpoint save and can play with anybody from where we left off and I am stuck at the beginning :(

Second issue is the parachuting in - could the game swap who shoots (for the maps that starts with parachuting in)

Its a good game, its much more entertaining to play online co-op, so you can select the level and difficulty and it finds a somebody. Also its not bad to play single player.

I've played a lot online, the VS mode isn't so great, but playing co-op is a lot of fun. Its easy to find people to play with, usually takes about a minute.

Playing Split-screen with another person is much funner than playing with an A.I. teammate. I've played campaign by myself, and I mean by myself. My A.I. partner was only good for holding a position and drawing fire while I actually went out by myself to kill everyone. If I sent him out to kill people, he would die in 2 seconds. And when your down and need healing, he's actually dragged me towards the enemy, and tried to heal me with no cover around! And he's done that at least 75% of the time.

Your AI partner wont be killed if you draw enemys fire to you by shooting like a mad man. Also you must send him to advance quietly. I play it just like that: I'm gloving like rudolf the ******* rednose reindeer and my AI Partner gets all the kills. =)

I've tried doing that but my A.I. partner is an idiot and won't kill the people shooting at me. Also I tried having him just stick close and follow me "passively", I thought he might give some extra support, but no, he died like three times in a row.
