I don't think so, my friend plays it on his original PS3 and it works like a charm.

I doubt any problems exist for older PS3 models, I mean nothing major has changed in it that I think would cause a problem. And I'm sure the game is tested for every console.

I don't think there's any truth to that at all. I've put about 25 hours into the game on my 60gb, and things are running perfectly.

I would not worry about it.

Same here I have a launch 60gig and have experienced no problems you also have to take into account that the 360 version has already had to be patched several times and we haven't so there's nothing to worry about.

No issues here on my PS3. My friends with fat PS3s haven't mentioned any either.

Fine for me, as well. Weird how this kind of stuff keeps getting started. Never once have I had an issue with my original 60gig. Does that mean there aren't problems out there? I guess not... but I find it very unlikely that there's a game out there that has a negative effect on a measurable number of PS3s.

Well this pretty much sums things up for you, RDR has no problems with the original PS3 models. I'd also like to add that my RDR copy is running very smoothly, and i am very happy with my purchase, and that i pre-ordered it.

I'm playing on a 40 GB fat (2nd generation??). It has been running pretty good, but it has randomly locked up once or twice on me. Luckily, the game autosaves A LOT so it hasnt really been a big deal. Regardless, i would consider it a stable game.
