I've only played through Monster Hunter Freedom 1 on PSP. I wasn't sure if I should get Monster Hunter Freedom 2 or should I wait for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G) which has more features and bosses?
It is worth it, because you can transfer your game save into Unite when it comes out. :D So you'll be ahead of others when you buy Unite with a simple import.

You can only transfer freedom 1 to freedom 2. Not everything is going to be transfer through but it is better than nothing. When you transfer freedom 2 to unite everything gets transfer.

MHF2 is AWESOME i have like 200 hours of gameplay on it. way more fun than mhf1 because of all the new weapons, maps, and monsters. Trust me get it because MHF2 unite will not come out till Q2
As a follow hunter I'd suggest getting MHF2 since the update will take a while and you can have more than 100+ hr of gameplay until that happens. As for me luckily I understand some japanese (using some old guides made for JP games) so I'm at 280+ hr in MH2'nd G and will probably get MHU :)
Monster hunter freedom unite include several new bosses and new maps.you can transform save of monster hunter freedom 2 into MHFU,but this version easier than previous versions.
Freedom 2 is a must have, i have 350+ hours on it, mostly by myself, but with the addition of the Ad-hoc Party beta ( in testing at japan) you can play with other people if you have a ps3 and japanese psn account.
plus anything you do get done is just another step closer for unite.....it's a win/win situation
