I sold my 360 bought a ps3 and am very happy with it.....................................kaliko22Hmm
so i'm pretty poor...but for everyone that has a ps3...do you think it's worth it? i have a ps2 and xbox now which i play and have a lot of fun on still, but i was considering buying a new system, and am trying to see which one is the best, most worth the money, etc. ShadySpecimenIf you are still having fun playing on your current system, no reason to switch to current gen now. Just continue playing the games you got for both of those consoles, and later on when a game you like drops on the next gen system purchase it :) (keep saving money for the buy aswell)

PS3 compared to a fully loaded xbox 360 is about the same price. Plus it looks sleek and doesn't have a huge power brick on the outside. You also get touch sensitive buttons and a trayless disc drive.
For the time being, the only drawback are games, but in the near future there will plenty.
In my opinion, get the PS3, fully loaded right out the box.
Hey, I have a quick question, the trayless disc drive sucks the game into the disc drive doesn't it? Doesn't that mean that it could scratch your game while being sucked into the console? Serge-Chronoplayed alot games on it, DVD or BD, there are no scratches.
Anyone who says that the PS3 has no good games is crazy. It's actually the reverse. Yes, the 360 has more games, but only 4 of them are any good. Gears of War is NOT one of the good ones either. It's the most overrated, repetitive game I've ever played. I got bored with it after 2 days. Also, the 360 cannot be updated with software.
As a matter of fact, I bought a PS3 because I got so tired of the 360 having no good games. I have to say that I could not be any happier. The PS3 menu system is WAY better, easier, and faster to navigate. Plus, I love that you can copy and transfer game saves, pics, and movies with a SD card or a flash drive.
I'm enjoying RFOM, Motorstorm, and VF5 more than any 360 game I own. I think RFOM is one of the best and most addictive FPS out there. Looking at the release list for both systems, the PS3 clearly has the most variety and the better exclusives. I really hope that the PS3 wins because it is more user friendly, has all the extra features (Blu-Ray, SD card, flash drive, software updates, etc.), and is future proof. The only thing Sony needs to do is release a new controller and put the R2 and L2 shoulder buttons back the way they were.
The only reason I'm keeping my 360 is for Banjo Kazooie 3.

It's a game. If you can afford it and think you'll have fun, BUY IT. If not, worry about doing things in your life that will get you more money. Gesh!
