Just wondering, but I was taking a look at LittleBigPlanet and it from all the reviews, it seems like a good game, but i nactuality I still have a lot of questions that pertain to how the game is actually run. I know its a platformer, but what necessarily does that mean?

Questions Like:

1. What kind of game is LBP. Is it a puzzle game that you go through a series of puzzles, where whoever has the highest score wins, or is it like a race to the finish?

2. Is it worth the 60 dollars. Does it have long replay value for mature audiences. Will 18 year olds enjoy this game?

3. Is multiplayer fun? Because I head that the camera isn't that great and that it detracts from the overall multiplayer experience.

4. Is this game like the super smash of Playstation, excluding that their is no fighting. Is this game enjoyable and competitive?

LBP, I guess you could say is like a stylized updated version of Old school Mario.

There are segments with puzzles in them, and there are race to the finish type moments too, which are fun when playing with a friend

This game has alot of replay value. Not only will you be playing the levels that the game makers built but also the levels that people around the world have made. Some of which are very good and give this game a whole new experience. So yes this game goes beyond alot of other games that charge 60 bucks and thats it. I'm 22 and there are a whole range of different levels that cater to a whole bunch of age groups. People make levels from their favorite movies or games and such.

The multiplayer is great. I spend most of my time playing with my wife and while there is no splitscreen which sometimes gets in the way cuz if your partner(s) goes too far the game counts down until he/she is dead...so thats a little drag. Otherwise the MP is great, play with 4 friends or just join people online.

No this game isn't a super smash bros. even though you can slap around your friends a little bit.. Like I said before, I'd call it a stylized updated Mario.

Hope that helps

and have fun with the game

IMO it truly is a great game

i'm 28 and am enjoying LBP very much. it is at it's best when being played w/ friends. the camera can be full of little nuisance's, but they are over looked by the high quality and over all polish of the game as a whole. i find the camera to be problematic when one sackboy is at one end of the screen while another is at the opposite side of the screen and the camera has to choose which sackboy to follow, and sometimes it chooses wrong. the levels are full of little puzzles, races and some great platforming tasks. there are hidden items through the game that really increases the replayability of the story mode. even after the story mode is over you will have community made levels that are getting to be almost as good if not better than the story mode levels. there is one level i played this past weekend where a person created these giant 2d wheels that were constantly spinning while you must go through a maze in side of the wheels to get to the exit. while in the wheels the creator has added traps and multiple paths to screw w/ your mind. your sackboy is tossed around in an almost weightless environment. this is just one example of what ppl are doing w/ this fantastic game. others are making levels that are about other games that they have enjoyed. there are levels about ratchet & clank, bioshock, zelda, mario, metal gear and many other well known titles. some creators are getting so much great feed back from the community that they are making multiple levels. i have to stop rambling on, but i will just say this it's well worth your $60, but if you look hard enough you could find it for a little less. i bought mine for around $55, but i guess you could find it for $45 - $50 if sought after hard enough.
