Is Mercs 2 gonna have trophies?

Unfortonately not but in my opion that will be one of the only downsides.

Not right now, I don't think. But Playstation stated that soon all games will have trophys, just like the xbox 360 has acheivments.Ragamer

That's not true. There are many games that will never get trophies. But soon all games made will come out with trophies.

Not all games are going to get trophies. Case closed-- I am dissapointed with this, CoD4 lazied out, but it's understandable because of their schedule.

There are still games to get trophies though, Burnout Paradise being one of them

Yea sometime in 2009, it will be mandatory and EVERY game there after will have trophies.

I think what Sony means that all future games will have trophies. This does not mean that all existing games will be patched to accept them. Think about how much work will go into this. The developers will need to program this into the game and make them available. May not be something they are willing to spend time and money on.

All future games will have trophies but starting on what date? That is another mystery all together.

I wish all games would have trophies already. Developers seem to be overlooking trophies/not taking them seriously.

This will change when Home comes out since trophies will be all about showing off to the world
