it def does on my US launch ps3 but maybe not on the eroupe ps3, Those dont have the ps2 emotion engine chip but play ps2 games through emulation. 72% of ps2 games work on ero ps3s
Metal Gear Solid 2 isn't compatible. MGS3 works somewhat but whenever i try to pause it the game freezes. Hopefully they'll sort all these problems out with a firmware update soon. And i hope they release the meory card adapter soon.
