Is my brother is an idiot (He downloads... EVERYTHING. literally)

Well guys, I'm annoyed. It may seem a bit trivial but I'm actually really pissed off because...

My brother is downloading EVERY SINGLE THING off the playstation store that is free. This includes trailers and demos for games that we ALREADY HAVE or don't care about in the slightest, including versions of trailers in standard def and versions in high def, just... everything! He had filled up the entire 60 GB hard drive IN 3 DAYS AFTER WE BOUGHT IT!! So what's next? Well, we've got a 512 GB external drive hooked up to it, and he hasn't stopped there! He's still downloading everything off the store, constantly checking it every couple of days to download everything new. And to make matters more annoying, because its not downloading to the actual PS3 any more, therefore making background downloading impossible, there have been times when I have wanted to play a game but had to wait for a stupid damned download to finish for... I dunno... some game that I couldn't care less about!!! AND ITS REALLY!!! REALLY!!! BLEEDING ANNOYING!!

Hm... I'm just wondering what you guys think. I told a friend and he wants me to get revenge by formatting the hard drive, but then I'm not that evil. Am I overreacting? Is he being an idiot or do you think I am? Should I just let him waste time downloading all this crap which neither of us actually care about? Or should I take control and force him to stop (oh I could find a way.. I'm older than him Mwahahahah)

Just stop everything he downloads. Then delete what he already has downloaded. Say he can only have 1 demo and 4 videos at a time on the HDD.

If it's your PS3, tell him to get his own.

Half of disk his half yours.

So simple.

IF that doesn't stop him then sure delete it all.

1- If it's his PS3, you have no choice... you're screwed.

2- If it's your PS3, wtf are you waiting to cancel all downloads??

3- If it's both's PS3, tell him:

3.1- if he's younger, that you're gonna kick his ass

3.2- if he's older, that... you're gonna tell mom :P

You know I wish the PS3 was completely mine then I wouldn't let him DL anything (it was a xmas present though for both of us)

You bet I've complained a lot and told him stuff like 50/50ing the drive and stuff... it ain't worked yet though. I also thought of a good point if he's downloading all the free stuff on the PS3 just because he can, why doesn't he go and download every single random thing he can find off the internet for PC? Idiot. That's all I can say. I'm not giving up yet though, first I'm gona show him this thread hahhaha see what he thinks of it.
