I was just playing Warhawk last night and now this morning it keeps telling me there is no ethernet cable connected. I was able to sign on today but then 5 seconds later it signs me off. I tried other ethernet cable but they don't work either. I use a router and to share connection between my computer and PS3 and obviously my computer is fine.

I can only assume that the PS3's ethernet port is damaged. No ethernet port means no Warhawk. I just got my PS3 a little over a month ago. Any advice anyone?

You coul try reseting the console back to factory settings. Thats what those guys at the support # always tell me every time I have an issue.

I would call Sony's Support line...if they're open and tell them about this.

Your console may need to be sent to service for repair.

You may have a router getting ready to bite the dust as well. If a single port is loseing connection intermittantly it could fail at any time.

It may be nothing to do with the PS3 instead it could be from another source before it reaches the console.

Try resetting the router first - turn everything off including pulling the power from the router. Then re-hook everything up. If that doesn't work try resetting the internet options in the PS3 menu to find a new connection.....
