ive been waitin for another good ps3 game to come out and ive seen that this game has gotten good reviews. so those of u that have played it, is it really that good? i loved the god of war games, is this game comparable to those? thanks in advance
Ninja Gaiden's combat is a lot more deep than GOW. You can do more combos and have a bit more freedom with your moves. I got both and like Ninja Gaiden better. I highly reccomend it.
it varies on your taste really. some games aren't for everyone i remeber on the xbox when it came out everyone was saying its a must own i bought it beat it and never really touched it again it just wasn't for me. i luv god of war 1 and 2 and i tried out the demo on psn again to see if maybe i'd like it this time still didn't. its not a badly put together game in fact its really well put together just not my cup of tea as they say. anyways you don't have to listen to anyone on the forum just go on the PSN and try out the demo its free.
I played it today at a friend's house, and I must say, Im not so impressed. The game feels a bit 'old'. I am just used to higher bars for games now I think. Dont ger me wrong, the action and fighting is great but there are some irritating things that ruin it for me. First off think the camera is sometimes a big pain, further it's a bit 'last-gen' that when you leave through a door enemie's dont follow you and are just gone if you return to the room. and some other little irritating things that dont make it a game for me,

I hardly believe that ninja gaiden 1 with improved textures is pushing the ps3 to its limits like no other game.
It has been completly REMADE. Whyt don't people get that. If it was a port with updated textures then we would've had the game months ago.

no? and also it uses hdr and aa at the same time which is a big deal on the ps3 since lazy devs and rabid fanboys made a big fuss about how it wasnt possible

Ninja gaiden is the best game i ever played. It also add up if you like being a ninja or something. This game give you the best hype in your life hahahhahaha :) i hope there is a female version.
Game kicks @zz. Great picture depending if you have an HD tv, and the game is just really tight. The camera takes some getting use to but all in all you should pick it up........a must have!

I played the demo just now (iknow im late with it all) and imo i think the visuals are flawless the look so good the textures are amazing the game is worth a buy :D
Don't buy it if you plan on it being a GoW w Ninjas. It's not. I love both series, but they are DIFFERENT. NGS is much harder. You have to be patient when fighting. Not just run and kill 'em all like Kratos. It's defintely a throw back to the old days of the platformer. YOU WILL DIE. YOU WILL DIE A LOT. But it's a great game. Definite buy. But check out the demo, it'll tell you everythign you need to know.
A must own game for the PS3. If you like action adventure games, then get this game. I do admit, the graphics could have improved but if you compare it to the XBOX version , it totally wipes the floor with it. The amount of detail in the first level was so amazing.
Framerate was'nt bad either.I had no problems. And playing as Rachael is no big thing.Boring actually.I kept looking forward to Ryu's chapters.
Ya, I just wish I had more time to actually play it. Girlfriends are the worst thing to happen to videogames, and if they like them too, that's less time you get.
Well, aside from a gamer girlfriend, the game is awesome so far. I find myself repeating levels trying to get hit less and hone my skills. I repeated the first level three times and the second five. Awesome graphics, nice mechanics, and excellent gameplay. I would write a review if I wasn't so lazy.

I remember people comparing the difficulty on Ninja Gaiden and saying it trumps DMC3. To me they are both about the same so far in terms of difficulty. I find them both entertaining. I still prefer Dante and I'll probably get flamed until no end for saying that, but that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. :P This is still a must own game though.
Ninja Gaiden is not a next Generation game it was just a little upgrade from Xbox. So if it was a next generation title it would have something like sweat and etc. But they dont even use more than 20% of the PS3 power anyways so what would you expect out of Team NINJA Graphics like that Jann LEE video on Dead or Alive 3. That video of Jann Lee by himself is a good way of sayin a next generation game,but just with extra things like sweat and stuff.

uh...i don't think he said "pushing the ps3 to its limits."
but it does use the hardware quite well compared to other games that are out. but the whole push to the limits thing you kind of threw in there. that's why people should read carefully and quote correctly. cause without the part you added you response to his statement makes no sense.
wow i wasnt expecting this many replies lol. thanks for the info, i got the game last night. its the first time ive played a NG game, and it is more difficult but once u get the hang of it its really fun.
