First I don't know anything at all about the PSP. So please don't take my questions as offensive. I already own the PS3, I was just thinking about picking up the hand-held to go with it. :)

1. Is the PSP still popular?

2. Are they still making games for the system?

3.They don't plan on discontinuing the PSP anytime soon right?

4. What are some good games you recommend?

Thank you.

Yes the PSP is still popular, in fact I think people don't bash it as much as they used to in comparison to the DS. The introduction of a new version of the machine indicates Sony intends to support it for a while yet. Personally I love mine, I have the new smaller model because the bigger one was actually cramping my hands. I have had no problems with it and am looking forward to the new games coming out. Speaking of games a number of good games are available or on their way:

God of War: Chains of Olympus
Disgeaa: Afternoon of Darkness
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matter
Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
Daxter
Final Fantasy Tactics
GTA Liberty City Stories/Vice City Stories
Silent Hill Origins
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
etc...

If your interested I recommend the system it has all the good things about Sony machines in a nice to-go package.

The PSP is really popular among the Asian population at my school...and the DS is just about everywhere you didn't think was possible.

I like my PSP's slim look even though it doesn't really seem to be much a difference, as well there are still a lot of games coming out for the PSP that I'm interested in, while in the DS all I did was play Phoenix Wright and Tetris DS online.

The PSP is popular in my town. My family has it as do my friends. You'll have to take their word on the games. All I know is GOW is coming but that's being ported to PS2 if I have my info straight. Other than that and Crisis Core I don't know what to anticipate. I recommend: Daxter Manhunt 2 Jeanne D'Arc DJ Max Portable Silent HIll Origins Medal of Honor Heroes 1 & 2 (The second is more difficult and more action packed IMO) Castlevania.
