is patapon 2 gonna get released on UMD?

I'm not sure Iv'e followed what SCE said about it, is it gonna be released on UMD sometime?

I don't believe so. You can still buy it in retail, it'll come with the case and manual and a download voucher.

In America it doesn't seem that way. But if your really wanting a UMD copy you can import one from Europe. For some reason they got UMD's but we didn't get the choice.

actully I do live in a europe pal based region - I can just walk to the store and buy it, but for some reason, for many years already, I only buy consoles and console games that are from an american region, I import everything, it overall doesn't get much diffrent in price terms even If i bought it locally, since those stuff here cost way more, and I like better the american version of the games and such, and because of that I really want all of my PSP games to be from region 1, and I also want all of them on UMD, I don't really like not having a hard copy of the game, but I was sure I read somewhere that 6 months after the release of the game in the US they'll also release a UMD version, but I can't tell for sure, I'm still waiting for it. man if in the future the psp 3000 gets ditched and only the downloadble content and the PSP GO will stay, I'll be really pissed...

Patapon 2 has only been out for a month here in North America. If what you heard is correct, then we wouldn't be getting the game until November at the earliest. Looks like your out of luck for another six months if that rumour is true.
