mines been running fine. you get really minor ghosting but that goes away and i think most plasmas have built in screen cleaners so you just run it for 10 minutes every couple of weeks and it cleans it up if you need to.

you should be fine. just don't leave the game paused with the tv on for hours and hours and there should be no problem. i've played my ps3 on a plasma since launch with no issues.

No problems here, I've been playing my PS3 on my 50" for over a year and I've had the minor ghosting but that's normal.

I know those Vizios are image retention prone..but burn in>> naw. If you mean image retention then maybe so, but it's not the PS3 causing it (mostly any image sitting to long on the screen can cause it to be retained for a few minutes, if your TV is susceptible to it). Most high-end Plasma's like Samsung's etc. don't have either problem (such as image retention and burn in).

ive been gaming on my 50in plasma for 3 years now with no problems.

if you have to pause for an extended time, just turn the screen off til you come back. makes sense when you think bout it. think green sunn!

Newer plasma HDTVs aren't going to burn in. I own a Panasonic Vierra S1, one of the newer plasmas that came out. From personal experience, it does leave a temporary burn-in for a few seconds, but it definitely goes away. I wouldn't worry about it.
