I cannot get online, play or otherwise with my PS3, i heard Playstation network is down, anyone else hear this or know what may be going on with the 80028ed6 error?
Someone said it was a problem with the 2.00 update, yet I have had that update since it came out and have not had any problems untill this afternoon, it was working this morning. Maybe I'm not thinking right, but, if there was a problem with the update, why then did it work for a week, and all of a sudden, this afternoon it doesn't? don't make sense.

Sounds like a cover up ;) Obviously many people are having this problem, it's all over the forums, if the Network isn't down, then what? What possibly could be causing the problem for so many people, all of a sudden, today.

They are probably working on the network. The network is still on according to the playstation.com page. Maybe the will send out another patch. I think there is too many people with PS3's online. They didn't think they would have this many people on at one time. With Assassins Creed, Smackdown 2008, Kane & Lynch, COD4, and Uncharted (some people have this game already), they have to many people connected to the network.
Yeah, I can't get the page to load up properly for the PSN store either. I doubt it's the 2.00 update, since it's just giving issues today.(a week later) I think Sony's updating the PSN or they're having serverissues them'selves.
i'm having problems too. When i try to sign in, it says that the connection timed out and that i should check my connection settings, so when i go to test my internet connection, i cant even get an ip address.... it worked fine yesterday and the days before.. maybe something happened?

Probably the reason but I have heard that they had something go wrong with the server that made it break or something.
