Is Playstion+Plus worth it?

I'm thinking about getting it and I see you get a lot of discounts and free stuff......but in the long run is it worth it? Do you get anything besides free stuff and discounts?

Yes it is. More so then xbl gold, thats for sure.While you dont get to keep any of the free games you get pretty much everything else stays with you. That means you get all the free avatars and wallpapers, and I believe the DLC is also yours to keep (still not sure though). All the discount stuff is yours to keep as well. Honestly if your thinking about getting PS+ get it. 3 months is only 18 dollars.

On my next check I'm gonna get PS+ for 3 months. I've been downloading stuff like a mad man with that free subscription.

for free games not really because you dont always get games you want but its worth if if u plan on taking advantage of the discounts

I don't really know how much it cost... But since I've got it free, I haven't used it that much. I don't know, it might be worth it if you like the games on PSN, some of them are free... You also get some cool themes for free, so that's cool.

in summary: it's a novelty that adds perks for those who really want them, other than that, most can be more than happy without this service.

I'm probably going to get it after my 30 days are up. I've been browsing games that have plus discounts and a lot of them are rather steep. It wouldn't take long to make up that $50 if you download a lot of things from the PSN.

To each his own. Just waiting on games that I wanted until they had price reductions for PS+ members has made me back the initial $50. Then on top of that I've downloaded about 8 or so free games.

no, you keep the welcome back games, the ones you get free on ps+ you lose if you don't renew your subscription, you keep the 1's you buy at a discount even if you don't renew, in my opinion it's not worth it, yeah you'll make up for the 50 like the guy a couple of posts above said but i didn't see anything there that would interest me but maybe for others.............
