PS3 has outsold X360 by 1 million units this year so far worldwide. Feel confident it's only a matter of time.
oh yeah, the first 2 PS didnt do well their first 2 years, then some awesome titles hit and the blasted off. The PS3's first years are close the the PS1 and PS2's. What's to say it won't dominate the market, and it's pushing a new format just like the PS with CDs and the PS2 with dvd.
Since its release about 4 to 5 mill, to 2 to 3. So about a 2 to 1 rate. Yes it is. But thats not saying a whole lot either, Because on a month to moth basis's. The 60 is the worst selling machine as of now. Besides the little Falo spike they had.
Its only a matter of time before the PS3 outsells the 360 remember the 360 came out a year earlier. If they both came out at around the same time the PS3 would be outselling it. The only reason 360 is doing good is because its price tag is lower and a few "overhyped games"... cough cough Halo 3.... allergies....
The PS3 outsells the XBOX 360 in Japan and Europe.
PS3 U.S. sales are catching on with Ratchet/Uncharted and a lot of killer apps for the PS3 in 08.
The XBOX 360 is not going to have a better year than this year, it's released it's biggest game and doesn't have many big franchises coming out next year really exclusively(definitely not as much as the PS3). The PS3 on the other hand, this is going to be it's worst year and it's dominating 08 and beyond.

So, a message to both sides. Maybe stop giving inaccurate details without any proofs, or just provide an official link so we can be sure that these stats are for real.

Yea but it is a 2 to 1. The 60 was at 10 mill when the Wii and PS3 were not even out. Now its at 13 or so. And the PS3 is close to 5. And the Wii is already to 13 also. So do the math. The 60 was at 11 mill, when the PS3 was released worldwide.
The PS3 MIGHT...catch up the Xbox 360 here in the United States. Microsoft has done an excellent job marketting the 360 here.
Total worldwide figures though? The PS3 will have the Xbox 360 beat by a mile. You think people in Europe and Asia prefer Xbox to PlayStation? When Final Fantasy XIII, GT 5, and Metal Gear Solid 4 drop, the gap in those territories is going to jump a mile.
im sure bill gates wishes the xbox would out sale every where buthim and microsoft and the people who made xbox and 360 have so much money they cant even use it in there lifetime, so part of me thinks Microsoft just wanted to appeal to the people in the US and make that americas console, becuase sony came from japan and microsoft came from america, and bill gates even stated america now has there first big console. So i think microsoft accomplished what they wanted.
90% of the PS2's sold, sold for less than $200. If Sony can't get the price down to under $200, they will lose the biggest segment of the market. Sony probably can't get it down.
Everything points to the 360 absolutely slaughtering the PS3 in the States - Sony has no way to catch up really. Europe isn't as far out of reach of Sony, but they still need to get a sub-$200 console next year to even be in the ballpark. In Japan the 360 will definitely lose, but the PS3 has no solid ground to say it won anything there.
What really matters is who developers support - what console gets the games. That's where the 360 has a massive advantage, just like Sony had with the PS2 last time.
No matter what the ps3 is going to catch up when ff13 is released and because 360 has no presence in Japan. But look at the NPD or the figures that came out from EA. 360 games were half the revenue of EA's quarter, and publishers go were the games are being sold.
ultimately 360 owns USA and sony isnt going to retake it lol theres too many fanboys luering there friends and then there friends friends and so on. in the whole world though sony will win.
