It's not working for me here in Canada. Clearly my internet is fine. I keep going through the network test on my PS3 and it keeps saying "Connection with the Playstation Network has timed out"
It succeeds with the IP, succeeds with the internet connection but fails when it tries to connect to PSN.
Chicago IL, down here. Funny that this happens right after a rather inflammatory user agreement clause was discovered in the last update... Again, not trying to fan the paranoia, but in asking you to give up your rights as a consumer to sue Sony, you (and I, I did it too) just agreed not to get worked up or otherwise legal-minded if something happens to our console.

At least it's not my oh-so-spectacular wireless connection this time. There really are more important things I need to do on a Wednesday night, anyway... :p
its not working for me. the internet works just fine, but PSN wont connect. is it under maintenance or something?

UK here and its down,I did a connection test and it passed but then went down again and aint come back yet. says error been signed out of psn with error code 8002a548. fuy howwe all just got that update wavering any right to take em to court if this kind of thing did happen. lol right before BF3!?.
We finally get a good update on the Playstation Store in Europe and it's down before we can access it.

Store update, maybe a fan of Resident evil but I'm not certain what got released on the EU store. I know I for one got Resident Evil 1-3 for free last night. Anyway I checked the PS website, they said they are down for unscheduled maintenance, and not certain when they'll be back up. If you go to the forums its a notice banner at the top.

Keep an eye on twitter.com/PlayStationEU for updates and the PlayStation Network bar at the top of the PC version of the site to find out when the service is back up and running.

Oh noes, i will sue for stress related illness and require credit monitoring for a year and then after that sell my PS3 because Sony has failed me, oh wait it's only EU that's down we can manage without resorting to lawsuits. :)
Good time to catch up to numerous single player titles. No service is 100% without flows, once in a while there will be day or two problems. There are other activities to spend time on. Like a good book, significant other, going to friends house and have good time. ;)
