It's not down keep trying. There have been alot of problems with PSN. Sony might be making an update that launches the 18th. That could be the problem/

i cant seem to sign on and i keep trying to i even tried to connect to the same one by selecting it from the network settings but its not working it always times me out or the error code pops up
Its all beyond a joke!......every time I am winning on CoD4........off it goes (an error has occurred. You have been signed out of Playstation Network. (80710092). AAAAAAaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!......give me strenth!!

That's what happened to me yesterday or whatever. Thought at the time it was my own connectionissues, until i saw everyone else offline. Well I best go check if i can log in now.
I got signed out, cant sign back in :( I was on home for the first time in ages, it's grown heaps seems a lot better and was about to check out the sony events space for the game event coming up, watching sonys event in home will be kool.
I can connect with ease, and i stay on most of the time, but today and yesterday, i've been disconnecting rasndomly

Same here. All these PS Network problems are most likely a server problem or their testing some type of firmware update. They may be testing/updateing trying to find bugs that could cause problems with MAG when it's released, the game will be supporting up to 256 players per game map and it could cause the network to crash like never before without doing some testing before the game hits.
