I subscribe and will continue to do so. based on the amount of fun I've had with the free/cheap games and DLC I feel I am getting my monies worth thus far. I don't use the auto-download service - when I tried it I kept getting demos of games I already owned being downloaded which while not a major problem was a bit of a pain :P
I was skeptical at first but now i absolutely love it, i enjoy waiting to see what i'll get from month to month, yesterday I had Sonic, Guilty Gear, a nice infamous 2 dynamic theme, some avatars, a couple of mini games, and astroblaster, a fun shooter. When I think I used to pay the same for xbox live and get nothing like this, its 100% worth it for me..
Ive now got a fantastic collection of games on my harddrive, minis, ps1s, arcade and a couple of fantastic neogeo games + all the avatars, themes, exclusive demos...... well worth it IMHO.
I have heard that all the games you can DL from PSN and others that are free you will not get to keep if you do not re subscribe to the service is that true? At that point basically you are just renting all these games for 50$ a year instead of owning is it still that good of trade off?
That's true, it's basically a rental service with discounts (you keep anything you buy on discount, like I recently got Fat Princess for half price). Honestly, PS+ is only a good idea if you fall under these categories. 1) You don't mind renting games under a subscription, then losing access to them after you stop subscribing. 2) You buy a lot of PSN games. If you buy PSN games via the discounts PS+ offers, you will save far more money than the subscription fee costs.I have heard that all the games you can DL from PSN and others that are free you will not get to keep if you do not re subscribe to the service is that true? Yah I took the plunge 3 extra months plus some good prices on some games i have been wanting, and then right after i took the plunge i see the Socom beta comes early for subscirbers so that was a plus so i can have a good amount of time to decide on the gameThey are trying to see if you are OK with paying subscriptions, so if you want to be eventually pay for online play, by all means, support Plus. donalbaneProve t hat, i dont think they would offer up all this to eventually see if you would pay for online play too. Sony could easily just say were gonna charge for online really at anytime and people would pay for it so i doubt thats really an issue

It depends how much on there interests you. From my point of view PSN+ is a complete waste of money, so I wouldn't ever subscribe. But, like I said, depends how much stuff on the store takes your interest.
