All I can say is its really gonna be a hoot to have T1 line strung all over the damn apartment when I get a new TV since my PS3 just refuses to play nicely with my ****** N+ router. One day I am getting almost 1MB a sec WiFi the next the speed is harkoning my back to the days of 56k. ****** should be sued for releasing that festering pile of broken router on the populus

it could be outside interference. Log into the properties of the router and try adjusting the frequency channel. My PS3 used to drop the connection now and then, so I tried a couple different channels and found one that never drops out and is fast.

I think key word here is apartment. I doubt your the only one running wireless and speed will be affected at times due to the number of people on 1 node. Honestly, I'd think strongly about running a wired connection to your PS3, full duplex and will cut out possible interference.

I dont lose the connection but it seems really slow over the Wifi. Wired its somewhat better. But when your using PSN as a speed test thing, that could be part of the issue.

I know when I got this router back in May it took forever to finally get the PS3 to hook up Wifi at all, the security was an issue. Once I messed with that the speed came right up, almost 1MB/sec

Now its back in the 2-3Mbps, before it was doing 6-7Mbps

Just gonna have to mess with it I guess.
