Is Quantic Dream as good as Naughty Dog?

For what they do yes. The games aren't comparable though.

Quantic Dream seem to have massive differences in how their games play compared to Naughty Dog. Naughty Dog on a whole though is one of the best companies in the bussiness right now with some outstancing titles past and present.

Sure, if you like games that are barely games and ham-fisted melodrama.

At this point QD should just make animated movies, as they're really not that great at gamepaly and after giving a big thing about how games don't need violence or explosions, the first clip of Beyond they showed had a ton of explosions and guns.  Speaking of, the gameplay they recently showed of gunplay and cover shooting looks very clunky.  I get that the game is about the story, but if they're going to add a cover based shooting section at least don't make it quick time events.

For what they do yes. The games aren't comparable though.

The only Quantic Dream game I played was Heavy Rain. But it was awesome! I played it non stop start to finish, lol. What a great night that was.

As for Naughty Dog, well I played Uncharted 1 and 2. Both awesome games as well. But the thing is, they are vastly different and not really comparable. They are both amazing at what they do though.

You can't compare and who ever says naughty dog are on another level are wrong.

Naughty Dog are great storytellers but what you have to understand is that naughty dog make a game which does not bridge off it's a straight story from start to finish but it's polished very well.

Quantic Dream on the other hand are being very experimental in their story telling and are trying to create a story which is driven by you, between heavy rain and uncharted the scripts and story boards are 3 times if not more bigger in heavy rain, and this is where there problem lies in some respects, their trying to character movie/game which is controlled and interacted with you. they are on par in my eyes with their passion on what they want to achieve.

OH GOD NO. I didn't even like The Last of Us very much and was disappointing by Uncharted 3 but I would never insult them by comparing them to Quantic Dream

Quantic Dreams make moovies that look like games and Naugty Dog makes games that look like moovies. If you want to sit back and push 1 button at a time than buy games from QD and when you want to sit on the edge of the couch, pushing buttons as if your life would depend on it than buy games from ND.
